Lost in PJ

With Bakar who is in Black Songkok

Bakar, a cousin
Went out on Tuesday morning
And he went missing

The search was mounted
The police with their k9
The scent fade away

Then on Wednesday
He was seen near Assunta
They rushed to the place

But he was not there
They scoured the nearby area
Found him near the mosque

That  is dementia
The memory is like blank
Allah protect him

Dear Hal,
Something dreadfully real! It'll affect everyone if one lives long enough. It will come slowly but surely.Just pray that one maintains the dignity of a sane guy at the end.

I agree with you, Hank. Let us pray for Allah's Mercies and Grace from such a predicament.

It is a very sad situation which I am facing as well. For over two years my elder brother,80+, healthy and agile, does not know who I am. I can tell him that I am his brother over and over, making no sense to him.He remembers his children. Fortunately he does not go out wondering and getting lost.

It is humbling to realise that we do not own ourselves.

Dear Pak Cik,
I also recalled my late uncle Mustapa whom you knew, when we visited him at the Old folks home, he could not recognise us. Allah is Great, he returns us all to our infant stage if we live that long. It is the sign of his Greatness and the Almighty.
